Episode 4 - Repent!
Monday Nov 06, 2017
Monday Nov 06, 2017
In this episode, we begin the conversation on Repentance or the word Repent! This word or act, for many, has a very negative connotation that we discuss in the first part of this episode. As Tom points out, in referencing NT Wright, the verse says, “For God so LOVED the world…” not hated it. Therefore, and hopefully this comes across in the episode, repentance is a very important and positive word in the Christian faith. It does not have to have all the negative baggage along with it and can be a great practice for a person as well as a community as discussed. Dig in, get some coffee and enjoy some laughs with us as we talk about repentance. And then Repent!!!
Scripture references from this episode:
- Matthew 22 (with focus on 22:14)
- Romans 2:1-4
- Acts 3:19-20
- Psalm 34
